About the company Sigm

The company Sign is a life long dream that has come true.

Sigurður Ingi Bjarnason, Designer and Goldsmith
started his education in Iceland in 1990 and finished in 1993.
His master during his education had a shop in Iceland, were he used most of his time but after his education in 1993 he worked in “Gullhöllinn.

In 1996 Ingi participated in a competition for fashion jewellery and his rather unusual design got a lot of attention
Ingi was one of the owners in a company called “G-15” year 2001 that later became a chain of stores in Iceland called “Brillant”. In 2004 Ingi sells out his part of the company and starts his own designer and goldsmith shop called “Igull”, a company that is still going strong.

In 2006 the name of the company was changed into SIGN.

Helena Palsson, Designer and Marketing.
Helena has a broad background when it comes to design and marketing. An educated actress and stage designer from Norway with her final exam in 1995

Helena moved to Denmark and started a company that specialized in buying and distributing various accessorize from all over the world, for the Scandinavian market. Helena has now decided to dedicate herself to her own design and production in cooperation with Ingi under the name Sign.

Helena manages the international division of SIGN in Copenhagen.
